The River City Shag Club is hosting its monthly social May 3 and its Cinco De Mayo time. Hola! The social starts at 7:00pm . And City Meeting Place has a great menu to choose...... See ;you there.
Are you ready to begin classes........ You asked and River City Shag Club is offering beginner classes beginning the second Wednesday of May.... Classes start at 7:00pm. Many members go early and enjoy the menu at City Meeting Place. We also catch up and share where to go shaggin' .. Hope to see you there....
Thank You, Thank you, With tall texan hats and and rodeo clowns and even a few Indians tapping to the six count, The River City Shag Club Rodeo Classic was a huge success.......So much time is put into organizing this event and bringing it together. The Shag honeys were like buzy bees and to the detail it was awesome. Proceeds will be donated to Hospice and attendees from Hospice were so appreciative and overwhelmed with the support they received from our Shag Club. Fellowmembers you can pat yourself on the back. We are simply the best when it comes to hosting an event.
Once again a big thanks of appreciation to the DeeJays representing Boogie on the Bay Shag Club, Outer Banks Shag Club, Virginia Beach Shag Club and River City Shag Club . for providing us the music for our classic. . .See you on the dance floor.
Start the New Year , Shagging ....
Beginner and Intermediate classes are held every Wednesday night starting at 7:00pm with a DeeJay following with shag music. You are invited to attend either class and even better yet, dance at both... The more floor time you get, the smoother your look... And best of all, the fellowship with dancers is a treat. If you haven't started , don't let that keep you from showing up... There are always members at each dance to help you individually
