Hello Shaggers,
Our March 13th social should be FUN with a photo opportunity thanks to Donnie and Nippy, St. Patick's Day Trivia and a scavenger hunt (thanks with the help of JoAnne Parrish) with prizes for the winners! Hope you can plan to attend! Don't forget to wear green, Leprehaun hat, remember your shamrock or mug necklace, coins, whatever makes you festive for St. Patick's Day Social!
Also, a reminder of the election of officers is coming up
with nominations in April and election at the May meeting (I made an error in the newsletter saying May and June). If you would like to be considered for an office, please contact Linda Gregory, Darrell Hivner or Dianne Nelson. If you would like to nominate someone, talk with that person to be sure they will accept the nomination at the April meeting. We have alot of qualified members in our club to hold an office.
Thanks and hope to see you Saturday night!
Don't forget to sign up Wednesday night if you're attending and/or eating the buffet on Saturday.
Joan Moore, President

A SHAGGER’S PRAYER
Lord, shoot the gun and raise theflag. At long, long last I’ve learned to shag.
The Basic, I can do with ease, The Boogie Walk with bended knees,
The Pivot I now do very well, Though learning it was holy hell.
As well as any, I Belly Roll, And better than most, I’m often told,
I Sugarfoot, Studder, and Pick and Lean,
And as for presence….man, I’m mean.
Flybacks and Drop-spins I take in stride,
Non-shaggers now I can’t abide.
Lord, look down, that shagger you see,
With grateful Heart, Lord, that's
me, ME! ME !!!
